Those amps delivered the unique distortion tones that powered John Fogerty’s “Run Through the Jungle” and “Fortunate Son,” and shaped the sound of artists like the Grateful Dead, Leon Russell, the Jackson 5, Carl Perkins, and the Carpenters.
This pedal is a tribute to a lost Kustom distortion effect that, until now, was only available in an amplifier. With the ROSS Fuzz pedal, players who once relied on the Kustom amp for this tone can finally capture the same character, now in a stompbox. Unlike classic fuzz designs like the Fuzz Face, Tone Bender, or Big Muff, the ROSS Fuzz revives a hidden piece of amp history and puts it right at your feet.
